Every expression has an equivalent Impression
Gathering impressions and sharing expressions are essential aspects of the growth process in an individual’s life. From the perspective of Eastern mysticism and Hinduism, this process allows for achieving balance and equilibrium in life, which is crucial for well-being. Physics principles of entanglement also highlight how everything in the universe is fundamentally linked, suggesting that the impressions we gather from the world around us are interconnected with the expressions we share with others. Contextualizing this from the perspective of Newton’s Second Law of Motion, I firmly believe that every expression has the ability to form an equivalent impression and vice versa. Looking back in retrospect, my firm belief and interest in understanding this cyclical relationship between impressions, expressions, and perceptions between humans and systems were crucial in guiding my decision to pursue a degree in Human Computer Interaction at the University of Maryland.
